Viblioteca

Great cheese, questionable plates, and a rush-job vibe

Viblioteca gets one thing absolutely right: cheese. The selection feels curated with real love—variety, character, and the kind of board that can carry an entire night on its own. If we stuck to cheeses, we’d probably leave happy.

The problem is everything around them. Once we wandered into the non-cheese side of the menu, the quality felt shaky—too many bites gave us that “pre-cooked and reheated” impression, as if the kitchen was assembling rather than cooking. The wine list is another mixed bag: structured in a way that’s oddly hard to read, with a handful of interesting references hiding inside a sea of label-driven bottles. Percentage-wise, the gems feel scarce.

Service doesn’t help. We felt pushed to eat fast and move on, and when we asked for wine advice, the guidance lacked confidence and criteria. The whole place reads more tuned for passing visitors than for regulars. For us, it was a one-and-done.
