Tres Porquets

Old-school Catalan comfort, done properly — at a premium

Tres Porquets feels like a veteran Barcelona address that knows how to run a dining room. The style is traditional Catalan-Mediterranean cooking: solid product, familiar recipes, careful points, and that calm confidence that comes from doing the same thing well for a long time. Nothing here is trying to surprise you; it’s trying to satisfy you, reliably.

And it mostly does. Food is genuinely good—well cooked, well paced, and built on fundamentals rather than tricks. Wine is also a strong part of the experience, with enough quality and intent to make the meal feel complete, not improvised. Service matches: professional, attentive, and smooth, the kind that makes the night flow without you noticing the mechanics.

The only real issue is value. The price sits very high, and that changes the lens: we start comparing it to the city’s top-tier experiences, not to other comfortable classics. If we accept the premium, it’s a great night. If we’re watching the budget, it’s harder to justify as an “any day” spot
